Are the wine tours conducted in rainy weather?

Yes, our tours run rain or shine. If there is inclement weather causing a tour cancellation, you will be notified.

What should I wear?

Our tours are casual and comfortable. Wear what you feel good in! There will be minimal walking.

What does the tour price I pay cover?

Pretty much everything except tax, a tip for your Tour Director and any extra wine (or food) you may choose to purchase. Your transportation, Tour Director, wine tastings at two wineries and a three-course meal with wine at the third wine establishment, and gratuities at the wineries and restaurant are all included.

How much do the tours cost?

Lunch tours are $120.00 per person. Dinner tours are $130.00 per person. Pricing does not include tax or tip to your tour director.

Do you offer lunch and dinner tours daily?

Yes, as long as we have a minimum of four guests, the tour will go on.

How do the tours work?

Our Tour Director begins his hotel pick-ups Monday-Saturday at 11:30 a.m. (lunch) and 5:30 p.m. (dinner) and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (lunch) and 3:30 p.m. (dinner). Once all the guests are aboard, the Tour Director will discuss Texas wine making and a brief history of Grapevine. Once you arrive at your first wine venue, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting for approximately 45 minutes. Then the tour proceeds to the second and third stops. At the conclusion of the tour, your Tour Director will return you to your original pick-up location.

What if I am a local and not staying at a hotel?

Our regular pick-up hotels welcome you to park in their lots and board our bus there. The Embassy Suites DFW North and Hilton DFW Lakes offer complimentary parking. The Gaylord charges for parking.

Is it ok to park at the hotels you pick up at?

Yes, parking is complimentary at Embassy Suites DFW North and Hilton DFW Lakes. There is a fee for all parking at the Gaylord Texan Resort.

Which wineries will I go to?

We have many fantastic wineries in Grapevine. We schedule the wineries based on group size, time of day and the wineries’ availability. We will do our best to accommodate special requests if you contact us in advance.

When is the meal served?

Typically lunch tours enjoy their meal at the second stop (approx. 1:00 p.m.) and dinner tours enjoy their meal at the first or third stop (either 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.), though there are variations at times. On Sunday dinner tours, dinner will usually be the last stop, at 6 p.m.

Is gratuity for the Tour Director included in the price?

No. Please let your Tour Director know how much you appreciate his professional and informative tour by tipping him at your discretion at the conclusion of your tour.

How long do the tours last?

Our lunch and dinner tours typically run about four hours in length. We usually allow an extra 30 minutes on our weekend dinner tours for our guests to enjoy their meals at a more leisurely pace.

What if I have special dietary needs?

You may order vegetarian at all our restaurants. The restaurant on your tour may be able to accommodate gluten-free, but it is not guaranteed. Please note that our winery and restaurant partners do not provide vegan meals or vegan wine. If you have allergies, please bring them to the attention of your server, as you would at any other restaurant. We have found that our restaurant partners do their best to accommodate our guests, although it's never guaranteed.

Can I shop during the tours?

You may buy wine and, in some cases, wine related accessories at our wineries. Also, we often have extra time after lunch during our lunch tours and allow for some shopping time in historic Downtown Grapevine.

Are there any beverages other than wine offered on the tours?

At the restaurant stop, you may enjoy a soft drink, iced tea, coffee or water with your meal at no additional charge. At our partner wineries, non-alcoholic alternatives (other than water) are not guaranteed.

How soon should I book in advance?

Our weekend tours sell out regularly, so we recommend you book as soon as you know your preferred date to ensure a seat on our tour.

Do I need to print tour tickets?

No, please give your name, or the name under which your party was booked, to your Tour Director as you board the tour bus.

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay cash?

All tickets must be pre-paid via credit card. Our Tour Directors do not accept any form of payment. You MUST have a reservation prior to the tour. During the pandemic, we are limiting the number of guests on each bus. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to book as soon as possible, since nearly every weekend is likely to sell out.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that you give us 24-hours notice so that we can open your reservation to someone else who may be on a wait list for that tour. However, if on the day of your tour you're not feeling well and believe you may be infectious, give us a call at 817-259-WINE (9463). So long as you call us before your tour begins, we'll either refund your money or reschedule you to a later date.

If a tour is sold out, is there a waiting list?

Can I book a private tour?

Yes. Private tours can be scheduled on any day but Saturday. There is a minimum guest requirement and may be an additional charge. Please call 817-259-WINE (9463) to help you plan a fabulous private tour.

How do I redeem my gift certificates?

If your certificates were purchased before January 1, 2020 please call 817-259-WINE (9463) to make your reservation and let the reservationist know your gift certificate number upon booking. Your Tour Director will collect your gift certificates at the beginning of the tour, so be sure to bring them with you. If your certificates were purchased after January 1, 2020 please enter your gift certificate number at the payment information section when making your reservation.

How much food is served on the tours?

You will enjoy a three -course meal, including a salad or soup, entree and dessert. Plus wine, of course.

What restaurant will we visit for our meal?

We typically visit Farina's Winery, Ascension, Winewood Grill, or Mesa. Give us a call at 817-259-9463 a day or two before your tour and we will likely be able to tell you which one of these you will visit.

Are cameras allowed on the tours?

Yes, please take as many photos as you like and make sure to share and check in on social media, too!

Who should attend?

Anyone wanting to explore a unique side of North Texas and discover why Texas is the 5th largest wine-producing state in the USA. Anyone that loves great wine, delicious food and having fun!

Do you offer corporate and convention group tours?

How much walking is involved?

Minimal walking is required, though you may choose to walk around Grapevine’s historic Main Street following your meal (time permitting).

Are gift certificates available?

Do the tours have anything to offer a native Texan?

Yes, our tours offer a relaxing, fun and safe way to discover a different side of North Texas that most natives haven’t seen, including a few of Grapevine’s many award-winning wineries.

May I bring my dog on a tour?

No pets of any kind, please. If you have a service animal, please call ahead for accommodations.

Can I take my gun on a tour?

No. Guns, even if lawfully carried, are not allowed on our buses, nor in any of the wineries or restaurants we frequent. If you are found with a gun on a tour, you will be asked to leave the tour.

What happens if I or someone else bother other guests on the tour?

Our goal is for every guest to have a fun and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, one drunk or disorderly individual can ruin the experience for everyone else. That is why we reserve the right to remove disruptive guests from our tour, after an initial warning. This decision will be made in the sole judgment of our professional Tour Director, and refunds will not be provided.

If another guest is bothering you, please bring it to your Tour Director's attention.

Do the tours start and end at the same place?


Are the tours accessible by wheelchair?

Unfortunately, no.

What should I bring with me on a tour?

We usually just say a camera, your appetite and a fun spirit! But because of the pandemic, you will need to wear a mask on the bus and when you are not seated at one of our partner venues.

How many people will be on the tour?

Anywhere from 4 to 24 guests.

Are tours offered only in English?

Yes, currently. For groups of 20 guests or more that prefer ASL or Spanish please contact us in advance at 817-259-9463 to set up a private group tour.

Are restrooms available during the tours?

Yes, each stop has public restrooms.

Are we required to sign a waiver?

Yes, each guest is required to sign a waiver before the tour. This is part of the sign-in process when you board the bus.

Are the tours fast-paced?

The tours have a relaxing pace as we proceed from location to location.

How do I book as a (non-corporate) group?

Prior to the pandemic, we were able to place a hold for the number of guests you expected in your group and then have your guests pay individually. However, since we are running at half capacity and regularly sell out, we are no longer able to hold unpaid spots. For now, to book a group, call 817-259-WINE (9463) and let us know the name of your group, and how many people you expect. You will either need to pay for your entire group at one time, or tell your guests to book individually as soon as you do. Please make sure that all of your guests note the group name when making their reservation so we can make sure you are all placed on the same tour bus.

Do you offer anything for groups celebrating special occasions?

We offer a free tour for the guest of honor for bachelorette or birthday parties (or other special occasion) with 10 or more full-price guests in their group. This offer is available for only one guest, no matter how large the group, and may not be combined with any other offers. This offer also does not apply to private tours.

Can I bring my children along on a tour?

No minors under the age of 18 are allowed on the tour. Individuals between 18 and 21 may join as non-drinking guests and pay a discounted price.

Are non-drinking guests welcome on the tour?

Yes, please call to register all non-drinking guests at a 50% discounted tour price at 817-259-WINE (9463). Please note that our winery venues are boutiques designed to showcase their own wines; therefore, their selection of non-alcoholic beverages may be limited.

Will I see grapes growing in a vineyard?

Grapevine is known for its wineries, not its vineyards, as the soil in Grapevine is not conducive to growing quality grapes. Therefore, all of our wineries grow their grapes outside of Grapevine, most often in west Texas or down in the hill country. Wineries produce wine, and you will be tasting wine in their tasting rooms.
