  • Who should attend?
Anyone 21 and older wanting to explore a unique side of North Texas and discover why Texas is the 5th largest wine-producing state in the USA. Our guests can expect to enjoy great wine, delicious food, and lots of fun! We also allow those over 18 to purchase non-drinking tour tickets.
  • How do the classic tours work?
Our Tour Directors begin their hotel pick-ups Monday-Saturday at 11:30 am (lunch) and 5:30 pm (dinner) and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (lunch). Once all the guests are aboard, you'll get to know your Tour Director, who will tell you about Texas wine making, the north Texas wine scene and local history. Each tour includes stops at two wine-tasting locations where you will taste 4-5 wines, and a stop at a great local restaurant or venue for a three-course meal, which of course includes more wine! At the end of the tour, your Tour Director will return you to your original pick-up location.
  • What should I wear?
Our tours are casual and comfortable. Wear what you feel good in! There will be minimal walking.
  • How much do the tours cost?
Lunch tours are $129.00 per person. Dinner tours are $139.00 per person. Pricing does not include tax, fees, or a tip for your Tour Director.
  • May we bring our own alcohol to drink on the bus?
No. We do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol on the bus. Wine will be enjoyed at all of our venues. We want you to remember your great time with us. Imbibing before, or while on the bus, may prevent you from creating great memories and fully enjoying all of the wineries and food. Water and snacks are available on the bus between each venue.
  • What is included, and not included, in the tour price?
Your purchase price includes your transportation, Tour Director, wine tastings, a meal with wine, and tips at all locations. It does not include tax, booking fee, a tip for your Tour Director and any extra wine or food you may choose to purchase.
  • How long do the tours last?
Our lunch and dinner tours typically run about four to four and a half hours in length. Traffic and our partner venues may affect the time your tour ends.
  • Are the wine tours conducted in rainy weather?
Yes, our tours run rain or shine. If there is inclement weather causing a tour cancellation, you will be notified.
  • Do you offer lunch and dinner tours daily?
Yes, as long as we have a minimum of 4 guests, the tour will go on! The only exceptions are that we do not run dinner tours on Sunday evenings, because several of our winery venue partners are closed then.
  • What if I am a local and not staying at a hotel?
Our regular pick-up hotels welcome you to park in their lots and board our bus there. The Embassy Suites DFW North and Hilton DFW Lakes offer free parking. The Gaylord charges for parking.
  • Is it ok to park at the hotels you pick up at?
Yes, parking is free at Embassy Suites DFW North and Hilton DFW Lakes. There is a fee for all parking at the Gaylord Texan Resort. We also pick up at the Vineyards Campground if you're camping there.
  • Which venues will I go to?
We have many fantastic wineries, wine-centric venues and other restaurants in the area. We schedule the venues based on group size, time of day and their availability. We will do our best to accommodate special requests if you contact us in advance, but can't guarantee that a particular venue will be on your tour.
  • When is the meal served?
Typically lunch tours enjoy their meal at the second stop (approx. 1:00 p.m.) and dinner tours enjoy their meal at the first, second or third stop (either 6:00 p.m, 7:00. or 8:00-8:30 p.m.). We encourage you to have a snack before you start your tour, because it may be a few hours before you eat. Your Tour Director may also provide a snack on the bus. And please, limit your pre-tour drinking -- we want you, and your fellow passengers, to enjoy the whole experience!
  • Is a tip for the Tour Director included in the price?
No. Your Tour Director will certainly appreciate a tip at the end of your tour, but it is not required. If you don't want to or forget to bring cash, most of our Tour Directors now take electronic payments (Venmo, Zelle, etc.). You can also give us a call at 817-259-WINE (9463) and we'll add one to the credit card you used to purchase your ticket, before or after your tour.
  • Will I see grapes growing in a vineyard?
The Grapevine area is known for its wineries and wine-centric venues, not its vineyards, as the local soil is not conducive to growing quality grapes. Therefore, all of our wineries grow their grapes outside of Grapevine, most often in west Texas or down in the hill country. Wineries produce wine, and you will be tasting wine in their tasting rooms, or you may visit a wine-centric venue with a curated selection of wines they want to share with our guests.
  • Where do you pick up at the hotels and campground?
Embassy Suites DFW North: Ballroom entrance on the west side of the hotel (map) Hilton DFW Lakes: Main lobby circle drive entrance near the bell stand (map) Gaylord Texan: Tour lobby entrance (map) The Vineyards Campground: Gate house by the American Flag
  • What are the hotels' addresses you pick up at?
Embassy Suites DFW North - 2401 Bass Pro Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051 Hilton DFW Lakes Hotel - 1800 Texas 26, Grapevine, TX 76051 Gaylord Texan Resort - 1501 Gaylord Trail, Grapevine, TX 76051 The Vineyards Campground - 1501 N. Dooley St., Grapevine, TX. 76051
  • What if I have special dietary needs?
You may order vegetarian meals at all our restaurants and other meal venues. All of our meal partners can provide gluten-free as well, but please let your Tour Director as well as your server know in advance. Our meal partners may be able to provide vegan meals. However, none of our venue partners serve vegan wine. If you have allergies, please bring them to the attention of your server, as you would at any other restaurant. We have found that our meal partners do their best to accommodate our guests, although it's never guaranteed.
  • Can I shop during my tour?
You may buy wine and, in some cases, wine related accessories at our wineries. Also, we may have extra time during our weekday lunch tours, which might allow for some shopping time in historic Downtown Grapevine, although that's never guaranteed.
  • Are there any beverages other than wine offered on the tours?
At the meal stop, you may enjoy a soft drink, iced tea, coffee or water with your meal at no additional charge. At our partner wineries and wine-centric venues, non-alcoholic alternatives (other than water) are not guaranteed. Most of our stops are at boutique wineries, who are excited to share their vintages with you, so they typically do not cater to the non-drinking crowd.
  • How soon should I book in advance?
Our weekend tours sell out regularly, so we recommend you book as soon as you know your preferred date to ensure a seat on our tour.
  • Can I pay/book online?

  • Do I need to print tour tickets?

  • Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay cash?
All tickets must be pre-paid via credit card. Our Tour Directors do not accept any form of payment other than tips. You MUST have a reservation prior to the tour. We strongly encourage you to book as far in advance as possible, since nearly every weekend is selling out.
  • What is your cancellation and rescheduling policies?
Due to our venue partners' need to fully prepare for our guests, all changes (cancellations and reschedules) MUST be made no later than noon on the day before your tour. Please call us at 817-259-WINE (9463) as soon as you know you know you'll need a change.
  • If a tour is sold out, is there a waiting list?
Yes, please call 817-259-WINE (9463) to be placed on the waiting list if you are unable to book on your preferred date.

Yes! They are a favorite for family and employee gifts, stocking stuffers and auction prizes. You may purchase cards online here or by calling 817-259-WINE (9463). A Gift Card Code will be sent to you or your designated recipient. When the recipient is ready to book, they will need to enter the Gift Card Code when asked for Payment options. If there are any additional dollars needed to purchase the tour (for instance, if our prices have risen since the day you purchased the gift cards), they will be prompted to provide a credit card for any remainder.
  • How do I redeem my gift card?
If you have a Gift Card Code, click on Book Now and select your tour. On the Payment Options page, enter your Gift Card Code on the line that says "Enter Promo Code/Gift Card Code/Store Credit." If any additional dollars are needed to purchase your tour (for instance, if our prices have risen since the day your gift cards were purchased or your code is for a lunch tour and you'd prefer to go on a dinner tour), you will be prompted to provide a credit card for any remainder. Or you can call 817-259-WINE (9463) to make your reservation and let us know your Gift Card Code and we'll book you manually. If you have an actual paper gift certificate (pre-2020), you will need to call to find out how much your gift certificate was purchased for. That amount will be applied when you book your tour, and you will need to pay the difference with a credit card. Also, make sure to bring your paper gift certificate with you, because your Tour Director will need to collect it at the beginning of the tour,. Gift Card Codes and paper gift certificates are non-refundable.

Our Tour Director will bring you back to the venue location where your car is parked at the conclusion of the tour.

  • How do we book as a group?
Click Book Now and select your tour date and time. During the booking process, you'll be asked "Group or companion's name who is booking separately." Enter your group's name there and make sure all the people in your group know the name. Or, when you're asked if you are celebrating a special occasion, just tell us what we need to know to ensure you're all on the same tour bus. You will either need to pay for your entire group at one time, or tell your guests to book individually with your group name or the name of the honored guest. Just like an airline, we do not hold unpaid-for seats. Therefore, you may want to buy as many seats up front as you think you'll need and have your friends or family reimburse you. We've had many disappointed people who are unable to join their party because they waited too long and all of the seats on the tour with their friends were filled. • Do you offer anything for groups celebrating special occasions?
